Happy 2015 dolls! I am so excited for the New Year because I’ve made some crazy changes in my life…starting with leaving my job. I am a huge believer in working somewhere or in an industry that you love. If you don’t like what you do, then what is the point? I want to do something different this year and that is to focus on our blog and work on my dreams. It is a very scary feeling but non the less I am over powered with excitement for the opportunities that will come my way!!

Hi dolls!!!! Last weekend I went to an event hosted by the lovely gals from 21 HM Boutique in West Lake Village. I had initially wore this outfit with a white vest but it was too hot so I decided to put my hair up and ditch the vest for the pictures. I am all about versatility and using the same garment in different ways. Welcome back my beautiful dolls! For this post  I wanted to show you all that even curvy woman can rock the Kimono trend that’s being seen everywhere right now. I know sometimes it can be a little hard to try a trend because you’re not comfortable but the truth of the matter is you need to try things before you knock them.  Personally it’s not my favorite trend because over sized anything can make us look bigger so that’s why I decided to wear a crop top to give the illusion of a waste and shorts for some leg action. This 4th of July weekend we had the chance to do a little shoot in Santa Monica before shopping and dinner. It's crazy how the humid weather doesn't really work with my hair, but besides that the weather was beautiful. Living in the West Coast is great and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Since I l am a repeat offender, I wanted to show you all different ways to style the same pleated shorts. In all honesty I buy pieces that I know I can use a million different ways, especially when you are on a budget!  I decided to spice it up for my second look with this fabulous crop top from Forever 21 Plus. I am in love with this crop top that I had to get it in both black and white. Since it’s really hot in the valley, they will come in handy. For a day time look I would just switch out the heels and throw on some cute sandals!

Hello beautiful blog readers! Happy Tuesday! I am extremely excited to blog this look for you all because if you don’t already know, Jennifer Lopez recently walked out in an all hot pink outfit with nude heels. When I saw that outfit I knew I had to find a perfect pink top to match these amazing shorts from the plus size section at Forever 21. It is no secret that I am currently obsessed with their section. Reason being is that I can finally express my style in clothes that fit! Also huge news is Wet Seal has also launched a plus size section!! I’m extremely happy about all the changes!

Can you guess what my current spring obsession is? Yes you guessed correctly! I’m on my fourth romper from the plus size section at Forever 21 (I highly recommend that you consider the plus size section at Forever 21 because they have some AMAZING clothes). Rompers are so comfy, they look chic, and can be dressed up or down. I am huge on versatility because I like to wear my items both day and night. Now that its getting warmer here in Los Angeles, they are a must. It gets too hot and personally with my body type, they’re very appropriate and still sexy! For a pop of color, I had to bring out my bright wedges from Lola Shoetique.
