Floral Kimono: DTLA (Exact Here)
White Gladiator Sandals: Rhapsodielle (Similar Here)
White Belt: H&M (Similar Here)
Gold Necklace: Cotton On (similar Here)

Floral has to be my favorite print of all time because it can be used all year round, especially during the Summer. It’s a great way to accessorize a simple outfit or can be the focal point.
Gladiator sandal heels are the talk of the Summer, these were a lucky find at a local boutique. I also have these in black because they are conformable and very trendy.
A lot of our blogger crushes are starting to show their versatility using floral prints. It can be paired with stripes, pop of colors, or denims. We really feel that it gives a refreshed and polished Summer feel to any outfit. Kimonos are very fun to throw on over a dress, shorts and a tee, or jeans. I will probably live in this Kimono during this hot Summer.

We decided to team up with Canadian style duo Katherine from ourMode to bring you all a floral collaboration. We love how Katherine paired stripes with the beautiful top and the way she used pink as pop of color. For her outfit details, please make sure to check out their website.

Cool, Calm, Collective

Watch: Timex Weekender (Similar Here)
Cardigan: Hawkings McGill (Similar Here)
Chinos: Cotton On (Similar Here)
Tassel Dress Loafers: Aldo (Similar Here)
Being of Mexican decent and raised in Los Angeles, I fell in love with everything Americana. For this look I went with a dress shirt, cardigan, chinos, and gave it a European touch with these tassel loafers from Aldo.
“Cool, Calm, & Collective” is a philosophy I try to live by. Getting dressed shouldn’t be a challenge everyday. In my opinion, basic garments is the key to a great wardrobe. My style depends on how I’m feeling that day.
Men should dress with a purpose, as if you were going to meet your worst enemy today.

For the second look, we decided to go for a more causal and fun look. Our personalities can sometimes shine though our outfits. Everyday it is something different and that is why we don’t have a specific style. Its important to have classic pieces in your wardrobe that you can dress up or down.
Mixing and matching pieces is something we do because it is important to budget ourselves. For example, all Jesal did was change his shoes and shirt to create a completely different appearance. Jesal decided to focus the look around his red loafers to go for a “nautical” look.

Kim is not afraid to take risks with her outfits as shown in this ensemble. You’d be surprised of the outfits you could create with new purchases and clothing you already own. She decided to pair this bright pink fringe top with a trendy leather skater skirt for an edgy approach.

We hope you enjoyed these two looks from “A Love Story” . We would love to know which look was your favorite and why.
