DIY Ombre Teardrop Necklace

I had the pleasure to work with my friend Lucero who runs a DIY channel on YouTube Lucykiins. She graduated from FIDM and is extremely talented in design and DIY. Not only is she beautiful, smart, and talented, but she is also very sweet! Please make sure to follow her on Facebook as well under Lucykiins and Instagram!
Okay guys, I promise we did not plan on matching, that was all a coincidence! I guess great minds think alike, that or we are just on trend! Again, living in LA and in the Valley, the weather can be unpredictable…that’s why I decided to wear shorts and these adorable heels from Lola Shoetique (Here).
Can you believe she made these necklaces? They are very unique and super trendy! I love how Lucy styled her necklace with jeans for a more casual look.
We hope you enjoyed the video and please make sure to check out Lucy’s other videos on YouTube and make sure to support and subscribe.

Los Angeles Love

There really is no way to describe how I feel about Los Angeles. I will say that I am one of those people who are proud of where they’re from. I am Latina and my family is from Mexico but my heart will always belong in the City of Angels. Some of my favorite songs are based on Los Angeles, like Red Hot Chili Peppers “Under the Bridge” or Tom Petty “Free Falling”.

Studded Tiger Sweatshirt: Forever 21 (Here)
Black Skater Skirt: Cotton On (Here)
Black Thigh High Socks: Forever 21 (Similar Here)
Black Ankle Booties: Forever 21 (Similar Here)

Growing up here has been very memorable! From Down Town LA, to Santa Monica beach, and cruise back to the Valley. There’s nothing you can’t do. My favorite thing about living in LA is the people and all the cultures. There are all kinds of people and inspiration. My favorite thing to do is people watch and try to figure people out, find out what their story is.
The weather here is finally starting to cool down and its time to bring out the sweaters, high thigh socks, and booties!  This sweater has to be one of my favorites at the moment because there are multiple ways you can wear it, its definitely a must in a woman’s wardrobe this season!

Fashion Week Pt. 2- Project Ethos

I know were a little late on this post but we still wanted to share our experience that we had at a Los Angeles Fashion Week Event. We were so lucky when our friend Claudia from The Penny Closet invited us to join her for the Project Ethos Fashion Show. We also had the pleasure of meeting a local blogger Andriana from La Moda By Andriana. We shared a lot of common interests as well as live in the San Fernando Valley. It's amazing how you meet people and connect with them on a lot of levels.
We both decided to wear darker colors since we have transitioned over to fall. Jesal kept it simple and chic in burgundy corduroys and a button up and Kim decided to keep it classy and flirty in fringe and florals. (We swear we didn’t plan on matching!!!)
She's Wearing
Fringe Top: Gstage ( Similar Here)
Floral Skirt: Gstage (Here)
Accessories: Forever 21
Clutch: Down Town L.A ( Similar Here)
Nude Heels: Forever 21 (Similar Here)
We cant stress enough how amazing it is to create friendships with people like Claudia and other bloggers we have met. We cant wait for next years LAFW!

A Little Get Away

When I was a kid, it was a tradition to go back to Cd. Guzman, Mexico in October to celebrate the "Fiestas de Octubre". The celebration lasts for 19 days leading up to a finally of a huge, heavy wooden platform carrying the statues of the Patron Saint – St. Joseph holding el NiƱo Jesus – and the Virgin Mary. I bought my ticket last minute and packed everything the night before, here is what I wore on my 6 days in Mexico.

I fell in love with these printed maxi dresses from Charlotte Russe because the cut and details are amazing. You can find them on their website Here and Here!
I decided to keep it simple with dresses as well as a leather jacket and flats or sandals. Flats came in handy because there is a lot of walking. My main accessory was the black hat that I purchased at forever 21. Because of the climate, my hair wasn’t working with me so I found it very convenient to throw on the hat. I kept my makeup also very light because it was still warm in Mexico. The green and purple maxi dresses where both purchased from Charlotte Russe and the two red dresses are from H&M.

I hope you all enjoyed!
