Leatherette

Before I start, I would like to say I was hesitant about posting these photos because I felt like they weren’t “worthy” for the blog because I am wearing a crop top. I’ve never been a small body type nor would I ever want to be. I am very confident in my skin and I hate it when girls that are not skinny don’t appreciate themselves. It took me some time to learn that everyone is beautiful no matter what size they are. Blogging has really helped me come out of my shell and has taught me so much. So here you go, here are some photos I posed for in a crop top.

I bought these Amazing shorts during the summer at the Pasadena Flea Market because they reminded me of a pair Zara had but without the big price tag. The weather here in Los Angeles has been playing with our emotions, but the camel color is definitely a must have for the fall. These shorts will definitely be spotted on the blog again but maybe with a jacket or some tights.
I really hope that this blog post gets some of my fellow bloggers to change their mentality or help someone realize that they are beautiful no matter what society thinks of them. In Bloom

I think band tee shirts are really cool, especially when you like the band your representing. Nirvana has always been one of my favorite bands along with Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, 30 Seconds to Mars, and the list goes on and on. I added the blazer for a pop of print and kept is simple with the wine colored boots.

Crystal Evil Eye Ring: Jewelry Holics (Here)
I did some research on the evil eye and why people wore it as jewelry and then became obsessed with wearing them as a good luck charm. I spotted this ring at Jewelry Holic's booth at the Flea Market in Pasadena and they were nice enough to send me this ring of choice. They have amazing and trendy jewelry for very great prices.
I’ve always wanted some bad ass pair of Doc Martens but didn’t want to break the piggy bank.  These wine colored boots from Lola Shoetique are the closest thing and they happened to be my favorite color. I didn’t over spend but what I am going to do is over wear these boots for the fall and winter.
The one thing I do like about my style is that I am definitely not shy to break away from my chic girly looks and outfits. Once in a while it's fun to go for the different looks and trends.  Just go with it!

Glam grunge is back ladies! Let’s throw it back with some flannels, beanies, leather jackets and leggings all together to create one outfit, yes I said one outfit!  For this spring another huge trend is layering vintage clothing with a sophisticated twist. Can you just feel that “Teen Spirit” running through your veins?
In my opinion, the 1990’s bold and dangerous grunge fashion trend is kind of hard to pull off. The great thing about this trend is you don’t have to go shopping for a new outfit; you can pull things out from your own closet. The key is to layer clothing such as loose sweaters and tops, ripped jeans, cropped tops and mix patterns and prints.
Some more must haves for this look are flannels, a band or graphic t-shirt, and definitely leggings. Stick with darker colors and leather (leather jacket, leggings, skirts, boots…etc!) Be sure to make your fashion effort look effortless and layer, layer, layer!

I’ve recently started seeing more and more bloggers rock graphic tees and it inspired me to try it out. I remember when I was in high school I would wear band tee shirts and graphic tees dressed up and I would get weird looks by all the “cool kids“. This really exited me because I got to kick it old school!
I suggest getting a little creative when wearing a graphic tee. Dress it up with some jeans and throw a statement necklace on for a fashion-forward look. I would definitely wear heels if your going out at night for a classy look. Other items you can wear are a skirt, a bright blazer, or a vest (like I did). Avoid wearing anything that looks worn out.

Now, lets talk accessories. Above the knuckle rings are my current obsession. I think they add spice to a simple outfit, especially when you stack them. The best part about these rings is you can now purchase them online at H&M since this week they announced they are now open for online business. I provided the link above!!!!! I hope you all enjoyed my take on how to wear a graphic tee and stay tuned for more!
