Black Sheep

         He’s Wearing
           Quilted Jacket: H&M
            Basic T-Shirt: H&M
            Black Chinos: 21MEN
         Oxfords: H&M
I have always been known as the “Black Sheep” of my family. This started because I was always very different, creative, artistic. Lately I have been using less color in my wardrobe, I have always been a fan of very minimal monochromatic looks.
I love this quilted jacket I found at H&M. I think its very versatile piece it has very nice structure, fit, and awesome details. With this type of jacket you could do many things I kept it simple just throwing it over a basic T-shirt. With Fall right around the corner its going to be a great addition to layered look.

There is something about a all black look that love. I think you could never do wrong with dark ensemble. it’s a very flattering color and just looks chic and elegant when done properly. Men need to own a pair of black oxfords to pair it with a killer black suit or less formal like I did with this look,
We have been enjoying the summer so much that we have took time off our blog. Slowly but surely were getting back to work and bringing you guys some more of our looks that we have been shooting. Were looking forward to fall much like everyone else we feel it’s a great time for great season for fashion.

Night Life

 He’s Wearing
Navy Slim Suit-: H&M
Spread Collar Shirt: H&M
Bow Tie: H&M
Pocket Square: Atlas & Mason
Wingtips: Aldo
Is the navy blue suit the new black suit? Not really but it does look extremely good and is less formal. I got my suit and tie on for this event that took place at the “W “Hotel in Los Angeles hosted by Annex Magazine. I really enjoy simple outfits and  keeping it minimal. As you can tell by this ensemble, understated sometimes makes more of an impact.
A fitted suit can always make a man feel more confident. To all gentlemen, get your clothing tailored! If you can’t find the right fit, invest in a good tailored suit because it will pay off in the long run. Luckily for me this slim suit from H&M was fitted and I didn’t have to go through all the trouble to get it tailored.

I’m all about the modern look and clothing that fit my body type. With this look I went with blue scheme mixing a dark blue suit with a light blue pinstripe button down. Because men can and in my opinion should  accessories, I decided to add a dark blue knit bowtie and a gifted Atlas & Mason  pocket square. When you look good you definitely feel good. The best part about transitioning seasons is getting to wear more dressy attire. Make sure to let us know which outfits you like more, the casual or dressy.

Bloodstained Lips

 She’s Wearing
Faux Leather Vest: Target (Similar Here)
Red Lips Graphic Tee Shirt: G Stage (Similar Here)
Black Leggings: Forever 21 (Similar Here)
Red Suede Transparent Heels: Lola Shoetique (Similar Here)
Silver Knuckle Rings: H&M (Here)
Silver Chain Necklace: Cotton On (Similar Here)

I’ve recently started seeing more and more bloggers rock graphic tees and it inspired me to try it out. I remember when I was in high school I would wear band tee shirts and graphic tees dressed up and I would get weird looks by all the “cool kids“. This really exited me because I got to kick it old school!
I suggest getting a little creative when wearing a graphic tee. Dress it up with some jeans and throw a statement necklace on for a fashion-forward look. I would definitely wear heels if your going out at night for a classy look. Other items you can wear are a skirt, a bright blazer, or a vest (like I did). Avoid wearing anything that looks worn out.

Now, lets talk accessories. Above the knuckle rings are my current obsession. I think they add spice to a simple outfit, especially when you stack them. The best part about these rings is you can now purchase them online at H&M since this week they announced they are now open for online business. I provided the link above!!!!! I hope you all enjoyed my take on how to wear a graphic tee and stay tuned for more!

Lawless

He’s Wearing
Panama Hat: Target
Wayfarer Sunglasses: Ray Bans
Button up: H&M
Distressed Jeans: H&M
Loafers: Aldo
This Outfit was heavily influenced by the “Roaring Twenties“. The fashion of that time is one of my favorites because it reminds me of Al Capone. I feel he was one of the best dressed people that ever lived because he was very classy.
Thanks to GQ Magazine, I was able to find a panama hat at Target for a great price . Panama hats are classier but if you are not comfortable wearing this type of hat, you can always wear a fedora. I threw it on with a black button up and some really cool distressed jeans (both from H&M) for a laid back look.
These leopard print loafers from Aldo are probably my favorite shoes for the Summer. I am a loafer junkie because loafers could be dressed up with a suit or dressed down with jeans. I like to have one thing that stands out in my outfits and these loafers definitely do the job.

We can’t believe summer is coming to an end but that doesn’t mean I can’t transition pieces from my summer wardrobe into next season. Make sure to stay tuned as I conclude my summer looks.

Pasadena Flea Market

Polka dots are a fun and timeless trend to wear. I decided to pick out this dress from G stage in small polka dot print because of my body frame. The smaller your body frame is, the more you might be able to get away with wearing big polka dots. If you are not comfortable wearing a full polka dot dress, an alternative is to have fun accessorizing a scarf, purse, flats, etc.

Hamsa Necklace and Above the Knuckle Ring: Jewelry Holics (Here)
Lion Head Belt: Cotton On (Similar Here)
Black Jelly Sandals & Turquoise Necklace: H&M (Similar Here)
Neon Yellow Purse: Target (Similar Here)

I decided to accessories this vintage looking belt to make my waist look smaller and to add some character to the outfit. Can we please just focus for a second on this beautiful Hamsa necklace I picked up at the Rose Bowl Pasadena Flea Market from Jewelry Holics booth. Please make sure to check out their instagram and website for amazing jewelry pieces.

Not only was it my first time going to the Pasadena Flea Market, I was very excited to finally meet Melanee. I also had the pleasure of meeting local photographer Dennis from Dennis Renaissance  . It was nice getting to know more local bloggers.
I love to bargain shop and I picked up some really cute items from different booths for a steal. If you haven’t been to the Pasadena Flea Market, I highly suggest it. Everyone is friendly, the culture is beautiful and you might just spot someone famous (we saw Kat Von D).

Classic Baroque

She's Wearing
Baroque Print Dress: H&M (Similar Here)
Teal Suede Heels: Zara (Similar Here)
Gold Earrings: Forever 21 (Similar Here)
Cheetah Bangle: Vintage (Similar Here)
Baroque fashion is a popular trend that can be traced back to the 16th century. The European style can easily be dressed up or down. In my opinion, the way to wear baroque is by keeping your look simple, balanced, and modern.

I bought this dress from H&M a while ago but couldn’t decide how I wanted to wear it. I felt it was a tricky statement piece to wear and I knew I wanted to look sophisticated. I decided to keep it feminine by pairing these Zara teal heels as my pop of color.
So as you all may know by now, Zara had their annual sale and I bought these beautiful suede heels for a great price. These are definitely a great color to add to any black and white outfit or any outfit you really want to add some color to. I’m going to have fun styling these babies this summer.

Thank you for stopping by!

Monochrom-Addict

She's Wearing
Camouflage Leather Jacket: DTLA (Similar Here)
Olive Dress: H&M (Similar Here)
My Weekend in Paris Heels: Lola Shoetique (Here)
Spiked Necklace: H&M (Similar Here)
Cat Eye Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters (Similar Here)
Black Purse: H&M (Similar Here)
For this look I decided to do a semi monochromatic look with a twist of camo and leather. It is getting warmer here in Los Angeles so this might be one of the few more times I can wear this jacket.
Since it is getting warmer, you will start seeing me put my air up in a bun. This is the easiest and fastest way to complete any outfit. It can also give you the opportunity to accessorize some bold earrings or necklace. I decided to go with a spiked necklace from H&M to spice it up.
Down town Los Angeles is one of my favorite places to do some bargain shopping. There are several Lola Shoetique’s in LA which is where I buy most of my heels. These in particular have to be one of my favorites at the moment because they’re unique and similar to the JC’s. I was also lucky enough to find this jacket in down town at a great price.

*************
My outfit was to compliment some of my favorite gals from Instagram to do a fun collaboration. Arleene decided to go with the purples, Melanee killed it in the nudes, and Lyndsey did cute pops of yellow. Please make sure to check out their fabulous blogs and Instagrams.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is an art museum located on Wilshire Boulevard. The Urban Light sculpture by Chris Burden has to be one of the most popular attractions in L.A. We have lived in L.A our entire lives and this was the first time we visited the museum. It is beautiful and the best part about it is that people can enjoy the outside attractions for free.

If you are ever in Los Angeles, we strongly suggest you stop by the LACMA. Please visit us again soon for the second part of this photo shoot with a more casual look.

We hope you enjoyed!
