Fringe

What She's Wearing
Tribal Romper: Forever 21 Plus Size (Similar Here)
Fringe Black Bag: H&M (Here)
Western Girl Earrings: Forever 21 (Here)
Revealed Black Booties: Lola Shoetique (Here)
I finally got my hands on a fringe bag! I promise you all that you will be seeing me use and abuse this bag. Why? Because it’s perfection and it goes with everything. Fringe is very huge this spring and summer and I suggest all you ladies invest in a fringe bag. I had to pair the bag with these stunning booties from Lola Shoetique. I love Lola because they always have the cutest trendy heels for amazing prices. I am very picky and these are the only booties I have fallen in love with. Like I promised in my last post, this is another romper I bought in the Plus Size section at Forever 21. I got one more coming at you!

Lost Without You

Love is definitely in the air today but for us its everyday…well mostly everyday! Let’s be honest, we’re only human and nothing is perfect in life. One thing is for sure, when we love, we love hard. We have had our fair share of ups and downs and sometimes barely make it out of a storm. Our long time friendship, respect, and love has kept us together for 7 years and still going strong.

This time we really wanted to shoot together because it is rare when we get the chance. Blogging has been like our baby, we work together as a team to nurture it and we spend time together taking pictures and creating ideas. We will admit, it has taught us a lot about each other. That’s the most interesting part of all this. When you’re in love or in a relationship, you never stop growing and learning from each other.

We are still very playful with each other and we still make an effort to stay interested in each other. We would have to say the key to a long lasting relationship is friendship, trust, and laughter…after all we did meet each other in a bouncy house!
There’s always those great parts in a relationship when one already knows what the other is thinking, when you walk out of the house in the same outfit, or just as simple as being able to be yourself without being scared. Relationships are work but in the long run, at the end of the day, being happy is all that matters.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Crazy in Love

SURPRISE...I have bangs now! A girl needs change once in a while. Don’t be afraid to comment below and tell me what you think. Okay, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and personally I always have a hard time figuring out what to wear. Yes we can go for the girly and flirty look but why do what everyone else is doing? I decided to switch it up this year and do something a little different for you all. I wanted to wear a floral dress but wanted to keep it chic and edgy. What better way than to add some leather into the mix!

Faux Leather Jacket: H&M (Similar Here)
Stay Social Black Heels: Lola Shoetique (Here)
Black Bag: H&M (Similar Here)
I have been seeing celebrities like Kim K wearing similar styles to these amazing booties from Lola Shoetique. As a matter of fact they reminded me of some beautiful Jimmy Choo’s but without the price tag! I honestly felt really chic and still girly wearing the heels with a floral dress. Later I will show you a different way you can style this dress from G Stage.
I wanted to let you all in on some tips I have for shopping. A secret I have for shopping and buying clothes is buying pieces that you can style in different ways.  I will confess now, I have worn this dress 5 times already since I purchased it because this style dress and print is versatile. The dress cost only $12 at G Stage and it’s flattering and trendy. Another secret I have is not buying right away, go home and sleep on it, if you still want it the next day… go buy it!

Make sure to check back next week to see a sexier and simpler way we can style this dress for Valentine’s Day.

Mean Girl

In reality I’m not a mean girl but sometimes it does feel like we have left the real World and entered “Girl World”, but who doesn’t like a little Mean Girls humor? Somehow, someway, we have all been personally victimized by a Regina George. Growing up, I had my fair share of girls bullying me and calling me names and putting me down. For a long time I didn’t understand why or what I ever did to deserve such hatred…but then I grew up and decided not to give a F#%@!!! It’s the truth, I know now in days the bullying is extreme because of the different factors that play in but we as humans have to learn that it’s not us with the problem, it’s them. Sometimes it is better to just turn the cheek and laugh at it all.

Who says we’re not beautiful because we aren’t a certain size or our image isn’t “attractive”. One of the reasons I was inspired to blog was because I didn’t really see any “thick” woman doing it. I thought it was ridiculous and I had to do something about it and what better way to go through this journey with the person I love (Jesal). Beauty comes in all sizes and colors and not only that, its skin deep.
Bullying is NEVER okay! Name calling is NEVER okay! If you have nothing nice to say have some manners and keep your thoughts to yourself! We are all beautiful in our own way…never forget that.

P.S. I Love You

Last weekend we attended a family wedding. We had such a great time because you can really learn from other couples on what love is. Love is something different to everyone else. It’s a beautiful thing to see a couple join as one and take each other for good or bad.

I decided to wear a leather dress from H&M (only $15), some strappy heels from Lola Shoetique, and of course my outfit wouldn’t be complete without my signature red lip!
We went to H&M to try and find something to wear because we weren’t sure of what to wear for a winter wedding in California. We both went for a simple and chic look and wore black. Jesal decided to pick up a red skinny tie for a pop of color and wore some amazing pair of Monk-Strap shoes.
Love always seems to be in the air, we like to believe that when you find that special someone you just know. One thing we have learned about love is that you can’t rush it. It’s something that takes time and patience. It’s always a work in progress. In December we completed our 7 year anniversary!!! We couldn’t be more happy and excited to start another year together because not only are we a team, but we truly are sole mates.

We hope you all had an amazing New Year!

DIY Ombre Teardrop Necklace

I had the pleasure to work with my friend Lucero who runs a DIY channel on YouTube Lucykiins. She graduated from FIDM and is extremely talented in design and DIY. Not only is she beautiful, smart, and talented, but she is also very sweet! Please make sure to follow her on Facebook as well under Lucykiins and Instagram!
Okay guys, I promise we did not plan on matching, that was all a coincidence! I guess great minds think alike, that or we are just on trend! Again, living in LA and in the Valley, the weather can be unpredictable…that’s why I decided to wear shorts and these adorable heels from Lola Shoetique (Here).
Can you believe she made these necklaces? They are very unique and super trendy! I love how Lucy styled her necklace with jeans for a more casual look.
We hope you enjoyed the video and please make sure to check out Lucy’s other videos on YouTube and make sure to support and subscribe.

Leatherette

Before I start, I would like to say I was hesitant about posting these photos because I felt like they weren’t “worthy” for the blog because I am wearing a crop top. I’ve never been a small body type nor would I ever want to be. I am very confident in my skin and I hate it when girls that are not skinny don’t appreciate themselves. It took me some time to learn that everyone is beautiful no matter what size they are. Blogging has really helped me come out of my shell and has taught me so much. So here you go, here are some photos I posed for in a crop top.

Camel Leather Shorts: Violet Kissed (Similar Here)
Black Gladiator Heels: Lola Shoetique (Similar Here)
Gold Lion Necklace: Ebay (Here)
I bought these Amazing shorts during the summer at the Pasadena Flea Market because they reminded me of a pair Zara had but without the big price tag. The weather here in Los Angeles has been playing with our emotions, but the camel color is definitely a must have for the fall. These shorts will definitely be spotted on the blog again but maybe with a jacket or some tights.
I really hope that this blog post gets some of my fellow bloggers to change their mentality or help someone realize that they are beautiful no matter what society thinks of them.
