Leatherette

Before I start, I would like to say I was hesitant about posting these photos because I felt like they weren’t “worthy” for the blog because I am wearing a crop top. I’ve never been a small body type nor would I ever want to be. I am very confident in my skin and I hate it when girls that are not skinny don’t appreciate themselves. It took me some time to learn that everyone is beautiful no matter what size they are. Blogging has really helped me come out of my shell and has taught me so much. So here you go, here are some photos I posed for in a crop top.

I bought these Amazing shorts during the summer at the Pasadena Flea Market because they reminded me of a pair Zara had but without the big price tag. The weather here in Los Angeles has been playing with our emotions, but the camel color is definitely a must have for the fall. These shorts will definitely be spotted on the blog again but maybe with a jacket or some tights.
I really hope that this blog post gets some of my fellow bloggers to change their mentality or help someone realize that they are beautiful no matter what society thinks of them. Falling For Fall Toddlers Addition

We have always been fascinated with fashion and the unique style that matches with each person’s personality. Children are so fun and unique because even at a young age, they have their own style. Jesal and I have had long conversations about childhood memories and dressing up ourselves for fun even though our parents would tell us certain things didn’t look good.

Blue Skinny Jeans: H&M (Here)

We had the absolute pleasure to shop and style Vincent for a little back to school outfits. Vinny is a very cute boy and he has his own personality that we felt matched his outfits. We were excited when our friend Dora, Vincent’s mom, came to us and asked us to style him. We’ve styled adults before but not children. We were a little scared but as soon as we hit the children’s aisle we couldn’t contain ourselves. We don’t have any children and don’t plan on having them any time soon but when we do, the child will definitely be very stylish.

Colored Skinny Jeans: H&M (Here)
Bear Graphic Sweater: H&M (Here)

We were both very happy when we saw that Vinny LOVED his new threads! What we did was buy clothes that can be worn in different ways so he can have over 10 different outfits. We were happy to see Dora and Vincent smile and happy with the new outfits.

Black Dahlia

I will admit, that I was very intimidated to wear  leather shorts…actually leather anything! I always felt like if I didn’t wear them correctly I was going to look like a beat up biker babe or some crazy dominatrix person. The only kind of leather I would attempt to wear was a leather jacket or vest until my friend Angela convinced me to go out and buy some faux leather shorts.

That said, I practically lived in these leather shorts this summer and will continue to over use them this fall and winter.  Not only are they trendy, they can be dressed up or down which is extremely important for a person like me who is always on the go.
Since then, I’ve been paring these shorts with everything! Dressed up with heels and blazer and dressed down with tee shirts and flats. In my advice, I suggest you keep it minimal with one pop of color  in your top or a bold necklace or even bold lips. I kept this outfit simple with nude heels and a bold lip.

In Bloom

I think band tee shirts are really cool, especially when you like the band your representing. Nirvana has always been one of my favorite bands along with Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, 30 Seconds to Mars, and the list goes on and on. I added the blazer for a pop of print and kept is simple with the wine colored boots.

Crystal Evil Eye Ring: Jewelry Holics (Here)
I did some research on the evil eye and why people wore it as jewelry and then became obsessed with wearing them as a good luck charm. I spotted this ring at Jewelry Holic's booth at the Flea Market in Pasadena and they were nice enough to send me this ring of choice. They have amazing and trendy jewelry for very great prices.
I’ve always wanted some bad ass pair of Doc Martens but didn’t want to break the piggy bank.  These wine colored boots from Lola Shoetique are the closest thing and they happened to be my favorite color. I didn’t over spend but what I am going to do is over wear these boots for the fall and winter.
The one thing I do like about my style is that I am definitely not shy to break away from my chic girly looks and outfits. Once in a while it's fun to go for the different looks and trends.  Just go with it!

Black Sheep

         He’s Wearing
           Quilted Jacket: H&M
            Basic T-Shirt: H&M
            Black Chinos: 21MEN
         Oxfords: H&M
I have always been known as the “Black Sheep” of my family. This started because I was always very different, creative, artistic. Lately I have been using less color in my wardrobe, I have always been a fan of very minimal monochromatic looks.
I love this quilted jacket I found at H&M. I think its very versatile piece it has very nice structure, fit, and awesome details. With this type of jacket you could do many things I kept it simple just throwing it over a basic T-shirt. With Fall right around the corner its going to be a great addition to layered look.

There is something about a all black look that love. I think you could never do wrong with dark ensemble. it’s a very flattering color and just looks chic and elegant when done properly. Men need to own a pair of black oxfords to pair it with a killer black suit or less formal like I did with this look,
We have been enjoying the summer so much that we have took time off our blog. Slowly but surely were getting back to work and bringing you guys some more of our looks that we have been shooting. Were looking forward to fall much like everyone else we feel it’s a great time for great season for fashion.

Teen Spirit

Glam grunge is back ladies! Let’s throw it back with some flannels, beanies, leather jackets and leggings all together to create one outfit, yes I said one outfit!  For this spring another huge trend is layering vintage clothing with a sophisticated twist. Can you just feel that “Teen Spirit” running through your veins?
In my opinion, the 1990’s bold and dangerous grunge fashion trend is kind of hard to pull off. The great thing about this trend is you don’t have to go shopping for a new outfit; you can pull things out from your own closet. The key is to layer clothing such as loose sweaters and tops, ripped jeans, cropped tops and mix patterns and prints.
Some more must haves for this look are flannels, a band or graphic t-shirt, and definitely leggings. Stick with darker colors and leather (leather jacket, leggings, skirts, boots…etc!) Be sure to make your fashion effort look effortless and layer, layer, layer!

Sporty Spice

Who would’ve known Mel C AKA Sporty Spice knew that the sporty trend was cool all along. I must say I was a big fan of the Spice Girls growing up but Sporty Spice was not my favorite because I didn’t like her outfits. My opinion has changed completely after seeing some amazing pieces on the runways for this Spring.

I am really excited that the “sporty chic” trend is going to be huge this Spring because it gives me a chance to step outside of my comfort zone. Looking for some athletic inspiration, I looked through some of my blogger crushes’ instagrams and websites. I noticed that in order to pull this look off you must dress it up.
A few pointers I have for channeling your sporty outfits is to first find an affordable and edgy top with number patches. Make sure that either the top you decide to wear  is fitted and the bottoms are loose or vice versa.  Mix feminine with tomboy by adding a statement necklace, earrings, or rings. I would’ve even added a leather baseball cap if I was going to be out in the sun. Have fun with it! I’m going to challenge myself this Spring to see how many different ways I can wear this shirt, keep a look out for that.
